In memoriam: Grace Stoner

Funeral services will be held Thursday for a longtime Kitchener City Alderman and Regional Councillor who passed away over the weekend.
Grace Stoner died Sunday at the age of 93.
Stoner worked for the city for several years before taking a run at a seat on city council.
It was not a fleeting ambition as she was elected to city council five times, serving five terms from the early seventies to the early eighties.
Stoner is resting at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home on King Street South in Waterloo.
Funeral services are at the funeral home Thursday afternoon at 5:00.
