Elmira residents can expect a lot of activity this morning at the Woolwich Memorial Centre.
Local emergency officials will descend on the complex as they stage a mock emergency exercise.
It gets underway at 9 and runs through 11:30.
The exercise will involve not only police, fire, EMS and Woolwich Township officials, but also a host of agencies that would assist residents that would be displaced if in fact there was an emergency, such as the Red Cross, Grand River Transit and Waterloo Region Social Services and Public Heath.
