Baden house fire

A lightning strike is believed to have been the cause of an early morning house fire in Baden.

The blaze broke out just before 1:30 this morning on Sandhills Road.

Regional Police say it appears the lightning strike caused an electrical panel in the basement to catch fire.

Everyone got out safely, thanks to a smoke detector.

No damage figure is available.
