Couch Fire in Waterloo

Last night around 630pm, emergency crews responded to a call at a residence on Erb St., West in Waterloo.
Waterloo fire found the couch had caught fire but had been put out with a fire extinguisher.
Investigation determined careless smoking was the cause of the blaze.
Damage was minimal. No injuries were sustained and no charges have been laid.
