A break from the humidity

Forecasters predict today will likely be the most comfortable day of the week in most parts of Ontario.

Humidex readings in the low to mid 30’s are expected for most regions, though humidex values could remain near 40 in the extreme southwest.

Some parts of southern and eastern Ontario could also see smoke caused by fires in the northwest.

High heat and humidity are expected to return to all of southern Ontario tomorrow, with record-breaking temperatures forecast for Thursday.

570 News Weather specialist John Wilson is expecting a high of 34 on Thursday, with a humidex value of 42.
