We’ve all been walking, when we wish we could be riding. Well now, if you’re in downtown Kitchener, you can do just that.
The Working Centre has set up seven stations across the downtown core where you can go rent one of 36 company wide bicycles. It’s called the Community Access Bike Program.
You pay a one-time fee of $15 and you can rent out any bike as often as you like.
Director of The Centre, Joe Mancini, tells 570 News that it’s meant to be a project based on community sharing. He compares it to Recycled Cycles, in the sense that it’s putting bikes in the hands of people.
