Could Google take over RIM?

A high-profile BlackBerry enthusiast says Google is a prime candidate to acquire Research In Motion.
Kevin Michaluk, founder of crackberry.com, has written an article on his website, titled “10 reasons why Google will buy Research In Motion.”
He tells 570 News, that among those reasons, is RIM’s solid footprint around the globe via its many carrier relationships. Michaluk also says it would be appealing for Google to build its own hardware via a RIM acquisition.
Google currently does not build hardware, having chosen instead to simply give away its Android operating system to companies like Samsung and LG.
He says Google could easily convert its operating system to the BlackBerry tablet OS, know as QNX. That said, Michaluk says that even if Google wanted to acquire RIM, he’s not certain whether the purchase would violate anti-trust laws.
