K-W Symphony Camp begins next week

It’s all about the music as a unique series of summer camps operated by the K-W Symphony begin next week.

The camps are aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 15.

Chris Sharp, Director of Education and Community programs for the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony says he’s very excited about the multiple camps they’re offering this summer.

The first one is called “Putting On a Show” and it gives kids ages 8 to 12 a chance to produce their own mini-musical.

Sharp tells 570 News the 2nd camp is for young string players looking to improve their skills.

The third camp gives kids the opportunity to explore multiple musical instruments and see which one is right for them.
