A man suffered minor burns to one of his hands after a fire in Kitchener this morning.

Fire crews were called to a townhouse complex at 595 Greenfield Avenue (near Fairview Park Mall) just before 11 o’clock.

Smoke was visible from one of the units and everyone got out safely.

Police do not consider the fire to be suspicious and the cause is still under investigation.
