Pedestrian Struck

Regional Police are looking for a motorist after an elderly woman was struck by a vehicle in Kitchener.

The collision happened around 3pm yesterday as the woman was crossing Frederick Street near River Road. Police say the driver stopped, checked on the woman’s condition and then drove off. The man is described as tall and white, driving a dark coloured vehicle.

Police say the 92-year-old was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with any information to contact them or Crimestoppers.
