Regional Council is set to make a final vote on Light Rail Transit on Wednesday. The Tri-Cities Transport Action Group is getting ready for their rally today. TriTAG is holding it’s second Rally in support for rapid transit. Their first was back in December, and about 200 people came out in support.
It’s called Rally for Rails II. Michael Drooker is an Executive Member of Tri-Tag. He tells 570News Light Rail is the right project at the right time for our region.
The Rally for Rails gets underway at noon today at speakers corner which is at King and Fredrick. About 200 people have already confirmed their attendance on facebook, while another 200 are maybe attending.
