A severe thunderstorm warning has lifted.
Environment Canada has lifted a severe thunderstorm warning for Waterloo Region, Guelph and surrounding area and Wellington country.
Callers had reported wet road conditions and heavy rain.
Traffic lights are out at intersections along Ottawa (River, Charles, King and Courtland) As well as Margaret and Wellington
The severe weather led to downed trees along University in front of Conestoga College, and at Ottawa and Nottingham, partially blocking lanes.
