Fire blamed on smoking

Careless smoking is the suspected cause of a fire at a Kitchener apartment building.

The blaze broke out late yesterday morning on a 6th floor balcony at an apartrment on Queens Boulevard.

No one was hurt and damage is estimated at around $15,000.
