Regional Police are urging parents to have a chat with their children about street safety.
They also remind parents to be diligent when it comes to knowing where your kids are at all times.
It follows a scare in Kitchener late yesterday afternoon.
Police combed the area around Kingsdale after receiving a report of a missing child.
Fortunately, the child was found safe and sound, about a block away from home.
