Great Ride ‘n’ Stride in Waterloo region

The Canadian Cancer Society Great Ride ‘n’ Stride event is back for its 33rd year.
It is taking place at 4 different locations in Waterloo Region.
In Kitchener/Waterloo it’s taking place at the Waterloo Public square, Cambridge at Churchill Park, Elmira at Elmira District Secondary School, and New Hamburg at the Magnussen Business Centre.
Organizers hope to have a total of 700 participants.
Those taking part can choose to either ride their bikes, walk, run, or rollerblade.
There will also be different routes which range between 5 and 10 km, so everyone can be involved.
This non-competitive, pledge-based fundraiser is hoping to raise $185,000.
