An invitation to the new royal couple, on behalf of the city of Cambridge.

Mayor Doug Craig says he will ask council to send a special invitation to the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Craig says he would be ‘overly excited’ if William and Kate made a stop in Cambridge and would be honoured to have the couple visit the city so he could congratulate them in person.

He says it’s an exciting time to celebrate the city’s connection to the Royal family in England.

Craig says it would be exciting for the people of Cambridge to be able to see the royal couple.
