Westbound 401 reopened

All lanes of the Westbound 401 have reopened at Highway 8. They were closed for about four hours this afternoon after a serious collision.
Cambridge OPP say a woman was struck by a vehicle in that area just after noon today.
Police are still trying to determine what she was doing in a live lane of the highway.
OPP Constable Ken Upton says she was in a vehicle and had pulled over to the side of the road.
Her injuries are described as serious. 570’s Hayley Zimak was on scene and files this report…
