Tree falls on girl

A young girl was taken to hospital after a large oak tree fell on her today.

Waterloo Regional Police say the 11 year old was pinned underneath it. The incident happened earlier this afternoon on Pepperwood Drive in Kitchener.

Police say she has a fractured leg.
