LRT meeting rescheduled

A meeting between the Mayor of Waterloo and a couple Uptown Waterloo residents has been rescheduled.
Waterloo Mayor Brenda Halloran and a few local councillors planned to meet with a handful of people who have some concerns about LRT at City Hall tomorrow.
However, the meeting snow-balled to a large number of people and rumours swirled that it was an anti-LRT meeting.
Halloran says the residents contacted her office and requested the private meeting be re-scheduled, which she agreed to.
She says she meets with people all the time and welcomes people to express their concerns and voice their opinions — but it needs to be a scheduled meeting.
