Students, parents and staff with the Waterloo Region District School Board have raised $95,000 for the earthquake victims in Japan.
Each of the 119 school communities joined in and organized fundraising events.
Funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross – Japan and the Mennonite Central Committee.
There will be a cheque presentation at the Education Centre on Monday.
