Forecasters say southwestern Ontario is in for a soaking today.
For our area, 570 News weather specialist John Wilson is calling for wet snow to arrive mid-morning with the risk of some freezing drizzle.
He says we could get 5 or 6 centimetres of snow before it changes to rain this afternoon.
A low pressure system over Texas is moving into Illinois bringing heavy rains with it.
Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent calling for rain amounts of 20 to 30 millimetres, but quickly canceled that warning.
