Snow event declared in Kitchener

The City of Kitchener has declared an official snow event.

Residents will have until 11:59 p.m. tonight to remove their parked vehicles from city streets.

Those who remain parked on the roads risk receiving an $80.00 parking fine and/or being towed at the owner’s expense.

The parking ban will remain in effect for 24 hours, ending 11:59 p.m. on Monday March 7.
