New charges in fatal crash

A charge has been upgraded against a Waterloo man charged in connection with a fatal crash in the city last month.

A worker with an electrical contracting company was hit on Weber St. near Parkside Drive the morning of February 8th, the 43-year-old man from Paris later died in hospital.

29-year-old Colin Hughes is now charged with Criminal Negligence causing death and Dangerous Driving causing death.

He appears in court later this month.
