Suspect wanted in attempted robbery

A Cambridge convenience store was the scene of an attempted armed robbery early this morning.
Waterloo Regional Police say a man with a knife entered the Short Stop on Dundas Street South just before 3 o’clock and demanded money.
The clerk however refused to turn over any cash and the would-be bandit took off.
He’s described as white, 5′ 9″ and scruffy.
He was wearing a black hoody and toque.
