Google wants you

Google is on a global hiring spree, looking to hire about 200 employees at its Canadian operations, which include its office on Charles Street in Kitchener.

Globe And Mail technology reporter, Omar El-Akkad, tells 570 News that in addition to sales staff, Google needs to hire people to produce Google products.

El-Akkad says the new hires will be evenly distributed between its Toronto and Kitchener offices, with some staff being added to the Montreal office.

Calling it their “biggest year ever” for hiring, Google will add about 6,300 employees globally this year.
