Extortion and prostitution

Three people face charges in connection with what Waterloo Regional Police call a case of extortion involving an escort agency.

Police say two Waterloo Region women, aged 20 and 37, are charged with procuring and keeping a common bawdy house in a Cambridge hotel.

A 50-year-old man meantime, is charged with extortion.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
