Two hurt in fire

Two men suffered minor injuries after an early morning fire in Waterloo.
Crews were called to a home on Corrie Crescent in the Bearinger Road area around 5:30. Police say fire crews extinguished a blaze in the basement.
One man was treated for smoke inhalation, the other had minor burns to his arms and legs.
Police say investigators are looking at careless smoking as a possible cause.
