The World Junior Hockey Championship has been a boon for buffalo, attracting huge crowds of Canadians.
Not only are they taking in the games, but the hockey fans are shopping and swallowing mountains of chicken wings.
The Toronto Star calls this a red wave and tournament ticket stats bear this out.
Canadians have bought 64% of the all-inclusive passes for the tournament and almost two-thirds of the 320-thousand tickets sold so far.
Canadians next chance to see their boys in action is tomorrow afternoon, when we play the Swedes who will be without Gabriel Landeskog.
