Testing Kids for Drugs

Any parent who is somewhat suspicious about their child using drugs can now buy their very own drug testing kit in Canada.
It is being provided by Confirm Bio Sciences, which is an American based company, and they have test kits for recreational to performance enhancing drugs.
Zeynip Ilgaz who is the CEO of Confirm Bio Sciences says they can test to see if your child has used drugs and provide a detailed 90 day drug use history report.
Ilgaz does say that parents should be up front with their children about this and not do this behind their backs as that could lead to other issues.
She says they do provide ways of approaching the subject, and once the results are in that their are different approaches for parents whether their child has a history of light drug recreational use, or is a heavy abuser who tends to deny any use.
Ilgaz adds that they do provide resources for parents if their child has a positive result.
