CO bill gets 2nd reading

A bill from Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman to make carbon monoxide detectors mandatory in Ontario homes comes up for second reading at Queen’s Park today.
Hardeman tells 570 news he expects the second of three readings to go off without a hitch.
The bill was started in memory of O-P-P officer Laurie Hawkins, and her family, who died two years ago in their home from C-O gas poisoning.
