Officer facing charges

An 11 year veteran of the OPP in Oxford County faces charges for an alleged incident earlier this month.

OPP say 50-year-old Constable Eric Enkelaar is charged with uttering threats after police received a complaint on November 19th.

Police say it’s alleged an off-duty officer made a threat while making a phone call during an unauthorized investigation.

He’ll appear in court in January.
