A few Conservative MPs made the rounds in Kitchener and Guelph today, announcing funding for women and infrastructure.
Kitchener-Centre MP Stephen Woodworth was at the Grand Valley Institution for Women, where he announced 67 thousand dollars for a program that helps prisoners re-integrate into society when they get out of jail.
Volunteers help offenders readjust to life outside of prison, including finding a job and housing.
Woodworth later stopped by the Sunnyside Supportive Housing in Kitchener for the official opening of the affordable housing complex.
The Conservatives also made an infrastructure announcement in Guelph today for the City Hall national historic site of Canada.
