The president of Wilfrid Laurier University, Dr. Max Blouw, is one of fifteen Canadian university presidents beginning a seven-day visit to India today, hoping to bring back students.
Robert White is a senior policy analyst with the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.
He says the presidents will be selling their schools as the place to study for the children of India’s booming middle class.
Presidents from the Universities of B-C, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick as well as Queen’s and Dalhousie are among those making the trip.
