2nd arrest: human trafficking

A second suspect is under arrest in Kitchener in a case involving alleged human trafficking of a woman in exchange for drugs.

The man was arrested outside court while he was waiting to testify at a bail hearing on behalf of a suspect already in custody.

Police confirmed the arrest was related to human trafficking but didn’t provide details.

In another development, the initial suspect, Sean Butler, now faces several sexual assault charges involving a second young woman.
