Cut brake lines

Guelph Police urge all motorists to double-check their vehicles after several calls came in about cut brake lines.
Police tell 570 News calls started coming in around 7:30 a.m. from several locations in the north end of the city about people discovering their brake lines were cut.
They are currently investigating six reports of vandalism.
Sgt. Doug Pflug says everyone in Guelph should check under the car for dripping fluids, and pump their brakes while their car is still in park before driving to check resistance.
Pflug says he’s not aware if anyone actually started driving their car today before realizing they had a cut brake line, but there have been no related crashes and no injuries so far.
Police say tires were also punctured and some vehicles were vandalized with graffiti.
Anyone who has any information about this dangerous incident is urged to call police or CrimeStoppers.
