UPDATE – Pitbull shooting

There’s more to the pitbull story we first told you about this morning.

A Kitchener man is now facing charges including human trafficking, forcible confinement, and sexual assault causing bodily harm.

Police had to shoot the dog Sunday night after it attacked an officer.

It happened during a traffic stop in the Fairway and River area of Kitchener.

41 year old Sean Butler was in court today.

Another man is facing drug and breach of probation charges.

Police say their investigation originally started Friday as a report of a missing woman.

The victim was later located at hospital where she was being treated for injuries consistent with a violent sexual assault.
