Too soon for snow?

If you were up early enough, you spotted a light dusting of flurries.

It’s not too soon to see snow, but too soon for it to stick around according to Environment Canada Senior Climatologist, David Phillips.

Phillips tells 570’s Gary Doyle Show our first measurable snow fall last fall was on November 30th when 0.4-cm of snow fell.

The biggest dump of last winter came on February 22nd, when we shovelled almost 12-cm.

Phillips adds typically around the end of November is when we start to see the permanent snow start to arrive.
