OPP capture escaped man

Huron OPP have caught the second of two prisoners who escaped a Corrections van in Dashwood, around the Grand Bend area.
Police informed 570 News around 8:40 this morning they had converged on a field north of Exeter shortly before 8:00 and were able to arrest the young offender being sought without incident.
Although it was feared the escapee may have acquired a firearm, he was not armed when arrested, say police.
He now faces a number of criminal charges.
The OPP would like to thank the media and alert members of the public for their assistance in bringing this to a successful resolution.
The other escapee had already turned himself in to police after the pair escaped around 9:00 o’clock last night near Dashwood.
The investigation is ongoing.
