The early morning Oktoberfest tradition continues with the Free Family Breakfast being served today.
Rogers Kitchener Radio Group personalities will serve hot pancakes while helping to collect items for the Food Bank of Waterloo region.
570’s Promotions Manager Christa Hicks says the breakfast feast normally ends up feeding over 10-thousand people.
“We have delicious Aunt Jemima pancakes and syrup, and Piller sausages made specific for this event. As well as Wellesley apple cider and Tim Horton’s coffee,” said Hicks.
Although the event is free, Hicks says those who come are encouraged to bring non-perishable items for donation to the Food Bank.
Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and runs until 11:30 or while supplies last at Waterloo Public Square.
