A Kitchener man faces dozens of firearms charges after police responded to a report of found property.

The Strategic and Tactical Services Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy Team and Emergency Response Unit were then called to the home on Briargate Drive in Kitchener Friday afternoon.

Police say they discovered around twenty firearms and ammunition – everything from handguns to rifles.

A 48 year old Kitchener man faces 38 firearms-related charges.
