Are we in for a cooler than normal 2011?
The Latest edition of The Old Farmer’s Almanac suggests that may be the case.
It’s out with its 219th American Publication.
There’s been a Canadian edition since the early 1980s.
Publisher Jud Hale tells 570’s Gary Doyle Show one way in which they make a forecast 18 months in advance is looking at the sun cycle and then comparing it to the same cycle a number of years ago.
He says, the last time it was in this cycle, the weather was on the cool side.
He says they launched the Canadian edition because the American edition sold here was so successful.
He says this one includes more Canadian content.
