Quake hits New Zealand

An earthquake has jolted New Zealand’s South Island.

There are conflicting reports on how powerful it was, CNN is saying it was a magnitude 7.2 earthquake, other reports say it was 7.4.

At this point, there are no reports of injuries or serious damage.
