Inspectors to enter fire scene

Ash and cinders surround the gate and property of a construction site in Waterloo after an early morning fire.
The fire hit the roof of the Lowe’s building centre under construction at a new mega mall being built on Ira Needles Blvd. near University Avenue.
Police officials tell 570 News building inspectors are heading into building today and police may not be able to begin their investigation until tomorrow.
Damage is estimated around $100,000.
There has been no determination at this time if the fire is considered suspicious, and the investigation continues.
