Cambridge fire officials say damage is estimated at 250 thousand dollars after a fire broke out inside a building next to a historic hotel in the city.
Fire crews were called to a garage next to the old Preston Springs Hotel on Fountain Street around 1 o’clock this morning.
No word yet on the cause, but an official with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office will be on scene tomorrow.
This is the second time in almost four years Cambridge fire crews have responded to a blaze on the property.
