Emergency officials talk about train delays

Following an ambulance that was delayed by a train in Cambridge, numerous organizations are coming together to try and find a solution to the ongoing problem.
Regional Emergency Medical Services, CP Rail, Waterloo Regional Police, and the City of Cambridge gathered to discuss enhancements to the local response system.
Director of Emergency Medical Services, John Prno says they are trying to come up with methods to avoid emergency vehicles being stopped by the train in the first place and looking at technology options.
Earlier this summer, a young girl was pulled from a Cambridge pool with vital signs absent.
The ambulance she was riding in was delayed by a train, she later died in hospital.
No connection has been made between the delay and the death.
