Weapon and assault charges in parking ticket fight

A dispute over a parking ticket boiled over in Waterloo yesterday afternoon.
Regional Police say the ticket was issued by a man who works at a plaza on University Avenue West.
Police say weapons were pulled: a baseball bat and a machete, and the bat was swung at one of the men.
Police say no one was hurt.
A 68-year-old Kitchener man is charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
