Lock it or lose it!

This week, Regional Police conducted the ‘Lock It Or Lose It’ program.
All tolled, some 200 vehicles were randomly checked and of those: 12 were not locked; 4 had their windows rolled down; and close to 30% had valuables in plain site.
Police say there are things you can do to better protect yourself.
Some are obvious, such as remembering to lock your car and not leaving the keys in it.
Also, they say remove those valuables, or at the very least, hide them.
As well, they recommend parking your vehicle in well-lit areas.
