Google Canada has confirmed it will set up an office in the Lang Tannery building in downtown Kitchener.

The timeline is still being worked out.

Engineering Director for Google Waterloo, Steven Woods says they are thrilled to find an office space that has a long-term connection to the amazing local history of innovation and industry.

Google said its also aggressively hiring to fill positions
such as product management and software engineering.
