Graffiti sprayed on school

Waterloo Regional Police say Mary Johnson Public School on Brynhurst Blvd. was the target of the graffiti that happened sometime between last night and early this morning.

Police spokesperson Olaf Heinzel says a suspect or suspects used spray paint.

They are asking parents and others to question anyone who may have unexplained spray paint on their hands.

The school building and the surrounding area were targeted.

Damage is pegged at 3 thousand dollars.

Heinzel says the graffiti seems to be random profanity.
