Fire at upscale restaurant

A fire at the upscale Wildcraft restaurant on King street in Waterloo has caused 60 thousand dollars in damage.
The early morning blaze broke out in the electrical room.
The restaurant was closed at the time with custodial staff on-site doing routine work.
Officials say the automatic sprinkler system prevented the fire from spreading and kept damage to a minimum.
